Amazon will give 0.5% of the net purchase price (excluding VAT and other shipping fees) of eligible AmazonSmile purchases to the charitable organisations selected. Only purchases made through smile.amazon.co.uk are eligible to generate donations.

Is there any cost to charitable organisations or to Amazon customers?

No. There is no cost to charitable organisations or to Amazon customers. The shopping experience is identical to amazon.co.uk with the added benefit that Amazon will donate to the charitable organisations selected by customers.

Does Amazon charge any administrative fees or take any deduction from the donation amount?

No. Charities must enrol to receive donations and have a valid bank account to which they receive donations, but there is no charge to participate and no fees are deducted from the donation amount.
